- Saws for cutting your tree,
- Tree Transportation from the Field to our service area,
- Shaking the Tree, which is real fun to watch
- Trimming of the trunk to a nice even cut
- Drilling as needed for our special stands
- Netting of larger trees for easy handling
- All this is complementary!!
When we have completed the services you requested, we will take your tree to our pick up zone where you can load your tree
and be off to start your Christmas Holiday!

No Time to Cut YOUR Own Tree? That’s OK we offer pre-cut Real Christmas Trees
Our Fresh Cut selection is provided for your convenience. If you choose not to cut your tree, do not have the time to
go out in our fields or did not dress just right, we can still help you find that perfect tree. From the comfort of our sales
area you can chose your tree from an abundant selection of fresh Christmas Trees that are offered and replenished throughout
the season.
Award Winning Nobile Fir Wreaths, Candy Canes, Crosses, Charms and Swags.
Additionally, we offer a variety of handmade award winning Noble Fir Wreaths in 10” to 24” sizes, decorated with our special
incense cedar, juniper and pine cones, which fills your home with the fragrance of the holidays.
You may also chose from our Noble Fir Candy Canes, Crosses, Charms and Swags, which are all decorated to perfection. We also
offer Garland and Poinsettias.
Our special Tree Stands are available for use on a wide range of tree sizes.

Snow Shoe Evergreen HISTORY
Our Family has been farming the rich sandy loam soil of the Puyallup and Orting Valley for generations. It began over 100
years ago with Frank and Louise Scholz who began the family farming legacy as Dairy Farmers.
Following in their footsteps Alfred and his bride Emma Jane Scholz diversified into a wide range of farming activities
perfectly suitable for the communities they served.
After several years of successful farming ventures in the Puyallup and Orting Valley, Ken and Joann Scholz began growing
Christmas Trees in 1972. Their first harvest was many years away, as it takes between 7 and 10 years of growth until a tree is
the perfect size to be your family Christmas Tree!
After many years of committed effort and hard work, Snowshoe Evergreen is pleased to offer you some of the finest Christmas
Trees grown anywhere. We were honored with providing the Christmas Tree to the Regan White House in 1983.
The original 86 acre farm has now grown to a combination of leased and owned properties which now total approximately 450
acres of productive farm land.
Ken and JoAnn decided early on they wanted to help bring the spirit of Christmas directly to local families. So they
dedicated a portion of their farm land to a Choose and Cut Christmas Tree operation. This farm is conveniently located on the
Orting Highway, between Orting and Sumner in the Puyallup Valley. Please see our map on this web site for our exact location.
Each year, we are pleased to open our U-Cut farm for you and your family to come and experience the beauty of our natural
setting of over 55 acres of land and thousands of beautiful, cultured Christmas Trees in multiple varieties.
